Hotel Marguerite Anaheim/Garden Grove, Trademark Collection

We had a good overall experience during our stay. Rooms are a good size, everything was clean and in good condition. We only had a couple of situations. First the hallway was too noisy. Our room was relatively close to the exit door and it late night people walking, talking and to many door slams. The other thing was a surprise. I wish they would’ve told us you don’t get room service unless you request it. We were out a full day and came back to a room left the same way. Not even towels changed or anything. The front desks explained that the only do room service if you requested so, since it was late and we were tired we slept on a uncleaned room. They said that this hotel policy was in a pamphlet they supposedly gave us. I did it find it though. They did give us clean towels so I’m happy they tried to help out. The rest of the experience was great. I would definitely consider coming back if these two things get cleared out before.

I stayed at this hotel initially for just one night, but it was so comfortable and the staff was so nice and accommodating that I ended up extending my stay. The hotel is clean, the breakfast is good, and there's plenty of parking. One particular staff member, Nayeli Bavas, went above and beyond to make my experience worthwhile. I highly recommend this hotel to everyone—it deserves more than 5 stars. Thank you for a wonderful experience and for making the start of my new year with my daughter so worthwhile. I will definitely be back!

While at first glance the room was very modern and clean, upon closer examination we found pieces of candy, juice splashes, cookies, and glitter all over the carpet and tile. Let's not mention the spider we found chilling on the headboard. At first I thought it was dead but imagine my surprise when it crawled down onto the mattress and started crawling through the pillows. I caught the spider and flushed it, but we ended up having to do a thorough inspection for more bugs. We did bring it up to the employee at the front desk, who did offer to move us to another room, but it was late and since we didn't find any more bugs we decided to just stay here. Housekeeping should definitely be more thorough in their cleaning. Additionally, while we have no issue with smoking weed, this is a non smoking hotel, and the hallway absolutely reeked of weed, which was surprising since we were staying right by the lobby. Also worth mentioning, the employee working the late shift at the front desk was very obviously sick with some type of cold, which is the last thing we want to encounter while we're on vacation. Overall, it's not a terrible place and we'll consider staying here again, but there are most definitely things that can be improved. On the positive side, the proximity to Disneyland and other shopping/eateries is excellent. It's just off the I-5, and there are a fair amount of food trucks open late just a short distance away.
